Throughout history, many aspects of media such as movies, books, comics and even TV have been able to be declared works of art by critics and the general public. But what exactly does it mean to be called a work of art.
Art noun: 
the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture.

Many people (who have never played a game) would say that videogames are not art and that they are just “kids toys” and have no artistic quality whatsoever. While they may point on some certain games that lack artistic quality (more on those examples later). But saying that, didn’t people use to say the same thing about movies, TV and even comic books?
